"When Samuel Peralta contacts artists about putting their work on the moon, they don’t always believe him… But it’s true. Peralta is the mastermind behind the Lunar Codex, a series of time capsules containing the work of artists that will journey to the lunar surface… Peralta says his project is unique because “it focuses on contemporary arts…”

"..her paintings trace into the visible what is invisible... they share with their viewers that force that compels one to take notice, to think, to feel, to even create..the oil paint is applied with such conviction that you can feel the movement inherent in the scene…it lives and breathes on the canvas.”

"The digital age is rapidly permeating the realm of art, however, these artists find inspiration in the traditional format of painting. Artist E.E. Jacks embraces the use of bright hues and a dense application of paint with the goal of encapsulating the mood and energy of her subjects, as stated by the John Wayne Airport Arts Program."
Modern Luxury Magazine

“…I think what sets the work of E.E. Jacks apart is the way she handles darkness and light, adjusting the proportions generously in order to offer the viewer a sense of mood that can be intimate or expansive, but is always full of mystery.”
Outdoor Painter Magazine

“E.E. Jacks is probably the only artist in America painting rabbits at night en plein air…” “In California E.E. Jacks is busy with multiple shows that incorporate both visual art and poetry..this combination is not unusual for Jacks who seems regularly moved to write a poem to further explore an experience. Jacks seems to find it the most natural thing in the world…”

“Quoting master Shakespeare doesn't come without risk...that said, "Though she be little, she is fierce!" and prolific too... with many works at the hem of her proverbial slip... E.E. Jacks paints with a sense of disrobing honesty and sensuality...”
